Rhys Hansen (b 1994) is an emerging artist born and raised in Wauwatosa, WI. He is currently in his 4th year at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and is expected to graduate with a BFA of Photography in May 2017. His work has been in several juried exhibitions including: MIAD’s 2014 Foundations Juried Exhibition, MIAD’s 2015 It’s a Major Deal juried by Lisa Sutcliffe, and the 2015 Focus Fest Flash Show. In addition his work has been in shows at Portrait Society Gallery as well as the Entry Gallery at MIAD. He will have work in several upcoming shows included the MIAD 2017 Thesis.
